Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI)

The Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI) is a provincially funded subsidy program designed to reduce and stabilize child care costs for families. This program provides financial support to eligible, licensed child care providers. Parents do NOT need to apply for this BC daycare subsidy. If your child is enrolled in a participating school, including Lakepoint Childcare and Learning Centre, the discount will be automatically applied starting in December 2022.

The Affordable Child Care Benefit (ACCB)

Under this BC daycare subsidy, families with a household income below $111,000 can receive up to $1,250 per child per month for childcare. The subsidy amount depends on your child's age, family size, and type of care. Families must apply for this benefit directly with the provincial government and renew their application annually.
